It is with great pride and honour that I preside as Director General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department which was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, in line with his vision for the Emirate.

It was the embodiment of this vision and the implementation of the aspirations of the Emirate's leadership which resulted in the unprecedented economic and social growth in Dubai and which subsequently led to the inception of the Department in 2009.
