The Legislation Issues 2014

Since early 2014 until now, the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department has, in coordination with concerned Government entities in Dubai, prepared (32) separate pieces of legislation; being (5) laws and (17) decrees issued by His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, (10) Executive Council resolutions issued by His Highness the Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Laws
- Law No. (1) of 2014 Converting Dubai Aluminium Corporation into a Private Joint Stock Company.
- Law No. (2) of 2014 Concerning Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai.

Decree
- Decree No. (14) of 2014 Adding Members to the Preparatory Committee of Expo 2020.
- Decree No. (15) of 2014 Amending Decree No. (24) of 2007 Forming the Supreme Fiscal Committee in the Emirate of Dubai.

The Executive Council Resolutions
- Executive Council Resolution No. (1) of 2014 Regulating the Tram in the Emirate of Dubai.
- Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2014 Approving the Tourism Dirham in the Emirate of Dubai.
- Executive Council Resolution No. (3) of 2014 Forming the Higher Committee for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai.
- Executive Council Resolution No. (4) of 2014 Approving the Fees and Fines Related to Notaries Public in the Emirate of Dubai.
- Executive Council Resolution No. (5) of 2014 Issuing the Implementing Bylaw of Law (4) of 2011 Concerning the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment.
- Executive Council Resolution No. (10) of 2014 Amending Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2014 Approving the Tourism Dirham in the Emirate of Dubai.
