Contracts and Agreements

​The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department offers an 'upon request' legal service to the Government of Dubai, and its related entities, to ensure that the procurement  processes and signed contractual documentation comply with applicable legislation in force in the Emirate.

This is to preserve and protect the overriding interests of the Government of Dubai. Specifically the Directorate will:

1. Review and draft contracts and agreements to ensure that they are compliant with the provisions of Law No. 6 of 1997 Relating to Government Contracts in the Emirate of Dubai; 
2. Provide assistance in drafting and reviewing all documents relating to the Government tender and procurement process; and 
3. Provide assistance to the Government and its entities with respect to all aspects of negotiations with suppliers and service providers until such time as an agreement has been concluded and the final contract drafted..
